Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy helps to restore movement and function in the treatment of health complaints including injury, disease and disorders. Physiotherapists diagnose and manage a broad range of conditions with bones, muscles, cardiovascular system, nerves and other body parts and systems.

During your initial consultation, your physiotherapist will take a detailed review including history and injury profile, identifying treatment required for your presenting condition. A follow up consultation may be required to review progress and implement new exercises or management.

Our physiotherapists may utilise myofascial release, stretching, taping and massage while treating. Home exercises may be prescribed for rehabilitation.

At Centre of Strength and Wellness, our physiotherapists also provide assessments for our Physio Active Movement 1:4 (Pilates) and Strength and Conditioning small group classes. In these assessments, our team undertakes a comprehensive review including detailed history and injury profile combined with identifying your goals and expectations, creating the foundation for them to best plan your personalised programs in one of these classes.
